Christopher Theofanidis
Christopher Theofanidis (born December 18, 1967) is an American composer.
Theofanidis was born in Dallas, Texas. He holds degrees from the University of Houston, Eastman School of Music, and Yale University, and has been hailed as one of the leading composers of his generation. Theofanidis was the winner of the 2003 Masterprize for Rainbow Body (which has subsequently become the world's most-performed orchestral work by a living composer), and has also been the recipient of the Rome Prize
